Yarn & Ink: Blushes Deeply

A skein of handspun yarn in pinks, reds, purples and a touch of sky blue next to ink swatches in the same colors.

I recently spun up some fiber that had gorgeous colors – pinks, reds, purples and just a touch of blue. The colorway was called Blushes Deeply.

So I went looking for an ink palette. What do you think?

  1. OMG. You matched those inks to all the colors in the yarn PERFECTLY. I love it when somebody does that. I sew; I make handbags, travel bags, clothes, etc. One of the things I enjoy the most about it is the process of coordinating all my fabric colors together. No real point to make; just thought I’d share our enjoyment of colors! Enjoy your knitting and writing; I’ll be doing the same.

    1. Thank you! It’s so funny – I love colors that other artists put together so finding that in an ink palette is just an added bonus. Sometimes I don’t have the right colors in my swatches, but when I do… it’s magic!
